Greg Moya

Director of Tennis/High Performance Trainer

Former ranked ATP Tour Player from 1992 to 1995. Moya was a 5 time Armed Forces World Tennis Champion in singles and doubles when he was a United States Marine Has worked with top ATP, WTA and ITF players. He retired August 1st 2011 at the age of 36 from playing ITF Pro Circuit Events while directing his Tennis Academy. He is enjoying the life of a fulltime coach along with his wife Christina and his 3 year old son Joseph Daniel.

 

Zach Ziskin

Zach is a PTR certified tennis coach who has been playing since age 9 and competed for many years on the USTA tennis circuit.  A South Florida native, Zach specializes in tennis biomechanics and mental strategy.

 

Nic Laheney

Teaching Pro

Former ranked ITF junior player. Colorado High School State Champion. Currently playing professional ITF events. Very knowledgeable on strategy and fitness in today’s game.

 

Katherine Hoepelman

Junior Coach

Katherine a former representative the Dominican Republic in the Federation Cup is the latest addition to the MTA Staff Roster. She was ranked #2 in Dominican Republic in Singles. She played #3 Singles and #1 Doubles on the Alcorn State University Women’s Tennis Team. On her freshman year, she got named on the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).Graduated 2011 with a Bachelors of Business Administration.

 

Sheldon Hardegree

Sheldon is a former pupil of Moya Tennis Academy playing in Junior, Men’s Open, and High School Tennis. He is giving back as a volunteer coach by helping the academy and helping to develop the future of tennis. Sheldon is currently also attending college.
